英语技能对联盟营销各个环节来说非常重要，但是不要试图找一个既具备优秀英语能力又有完美联盟营销推广经验的员工，大多数SEO外包员工都不是以英语为母语，但他们具备很强的专业能力，能够具备基本的沟通能力即可。

是否值得培养

不要让优秀人才来找你，你要主动出击。不要仅限于在主动申请职位的人员列表中选择，要积极主动去寻找更适合该职位的人才，使用外包网站提供的人才简历和相关技能，筛选更适合的候选人。

通过当前员工推荐

有时候找到合适候选者的最好办法，是通过当前雇用员工的推荐。现有的外包员工中可能认识，一些和他们具有相同技能水平的朋友，通过他们的推荐雇佣具备相应能力的人才。

谈判

不用担心与优秀候选者的谈判，如果他是一位已经有兼职工作的候选者，你可以给他提供一份全职的工作，看看他怎么说，是否愿意离开原来的兼职为你来全职工作。

也不用担心谈论薪酬，一个优秀的开发人员有可能向你开出每月900美元的薪酬，其实每月450美元同样可以找到两个水平中上的开发人员。记住：就像你渴望雇用到员工一样，应聘的候选者也渴望获得工作，利用这一筹码让他们同意较低的初始工资。

全职员工

如果你将所有精力集中在一项任务上，生产效率一定会高于将精力分散在多个任务。同理，如果你雇佣的是一些兼职的员工，他们还有其它兼职工作要做，工作效率一定会比全职员工的工作效率低很多。当然，并不是让你只雇佣全职员工，可以给全职员工多个任务来提高生产效率：

按天工作，每周工作多少天——例如你雇佣他每周工作三天，每天八小时；而不是每周工作六天，每天四小时。虽然这样做不会让全职员工很忙绿，但这样做的好处是他们有更长的时间处理工作，工作效率更高。

“分享”给你的朋友——如果你有做联盟营销的朋友，他也想雇用外包员工，看看你们的工作是否相似，可以把你的外包员工“分享”给他。这样做的好处是，让外包员工有相似的工作，并且长期从事一项工作可以提高他们的熟练度，从整体上提高了工作效率。

随着你在联盟营销之路上越来越成功，会发现有很多重复性的工作占用了大部分工作时间，比如网站的维护、新网站的搭建等等。为了不让这些成为你在成功路上的绊脚石，这节课介绍一个重要的概念——外包。

外包哪些工作？

外包就是雇佣其他人完成工作的过程，它有两个主要原因：

1.外包你自己能做但没有时间做的工作

通常情况下，你的工作量随着时间的增加，会有很多任务加入到待办工作列表，所以每天只能优先处理那些最重要最紧急的工作。如果你不希望那些没处理的任务耽误整个工作进程，那么外包是一个很好的选项。

2.外包你不能做的工作

没有人可以处理所有的工作，除非你像超人那样可以编写网站代码、设计图片、编辑文章以及研究市场趋势并制定策略。任何一项工程的完成，都得益于不同专业人员的共同努力，每个人都有自己的专业与专长，可以合力创造出一个比任何单独个体都更有价值的东西。因此，可以将很多任务外包给更专业的人士。

外包给我们带来哪些好处？

首先外包带来最大的好处，就是你可以将大部分精力放在最重要的工作上，下面介绍外包给你带来的其他好处。

本地化风险降低

当你以一个全球化的视角看待外包时，如果来自某一地方的外包员工由于任何原因无法工作时，都可以降低团队或公司的风险。许多因素会导致本地化风险，公共假日、恶劣天气、公共事件以及自然灾害等都会随时出现。如果你将外包人员分散，可以随时应对本地化的风险。

更快的实现业务扩展

如果在你的所在地区没有具备某项专业技能的人才，那么你可以足不出户通过互联网找到具有任何技能的人才。这可以让你快速的实现业务的扩展，不需要花费更多精力在本地寻找人才。

可以雇佣到最好的专业人士

在本地即使有些人具有相关的专业技能，但是还不能满足你公司的要求。但是通过外包可以找到该领域最好的人才，并且不用考虑是否在本地的问题。

更灵活的财务选择方式

最后值得一提的是：外包是更廉价的选择。我现在把更多的工作都转为了外包，最重要的原因是在保证质量的同时价格更低廉。有些人认为价格低等于低质量，但这件事要更宏观来看。

举一个例子：100美元在不同的国家能买多少大米？

每个国家的生活成本都不同，同样是100美元在有些发展中国家可以购买更多的大米。同理，我们向一个具有同等技能的人可能会支付不同的工资。外包对你而言是另一种财务选择方式，如果你还不能雇佣全职员工时，通过外包给那些自由职业者是一个双赢的结果。

外包雇佣员工也是一个循序渐进的过程，在起步阶段没有太多资金时，从自由职业者慢慢过度到全职人员，随着收入和业务量不断的增加，逐步增加外包人员的数量。

如何开始外包？

我在外包工作时常用的网站：Upwork和Fiverr。

一些比较小的工作，可以在Fiverr上找到各种各样的专业人才，只需要5美元就可以找到内容编辑、图片设计师、音频视频制作、甚至是编程技术人员。

Upwork 是另一个相似的网站，但它规模更大。

你可以发布更具体的工作，和符合要求的应聘者讨价筛选更符合要求的员工。

你可以在Google Adwords和Bing来购买流量，但是你知道还有哪些其他付费流量也有不错的盈利吗？在本节课中，我们来了解其他广告投放平台。

我最喜欢的三个平台包括：

1.谷歌内容网络 – 我将它列为替代方案，因为大多数人使用谷歌内容网络的方法与我展示的方法不同。

2.Facebook – Facebook提供了针对性很强的广告。

3.YouTube – 现在已被Google收购，也是一个很大的流量玩家。

大多数流量来源还没有被Affiliate广泛使用，所以你仍然可以获得非常便宜的流量。以下是这些替代付费流量源的介绍：

谷歌内容网络

1.文字型与图片型广告

将Adwords广告显示为文字型广告和横幅图片型广告支付的价格是相同的，但是使用横幅图片型广告可以占更多的空间，而且它比文字型广告有更好的转化率，即使没有被点击也可以推广你的网站品牌。

当然，谷歌展示广告是随机的，所以不能保证你的广告出现在哪个位置。这就是为什么既要有文字型广告又要有图片型广告。

2.拆分广告系列

我建议你将“内容匹配”的广告和“搜索匹配”的广告分开到不同的广告系列。这很重要，原因如下：

  • 搜索匹配和内容匹配广告系列的展示结果是不同的，如果它们集中在同一个广告系列，那么看不到两者的差异。
  • 你可以为不同的广告系列撰写不同的广告。适用于内容匹配的广告内容，可能不适用搜索匹配，反之亦然。重要的是你可以灵活地针对不同类型的广告。
  • 你会发现搜索匹配在一些国家/地区有利润，但是内容匹配仅在没有利润或者内容匹配在一些国家/地区适用，而搜索匹配广告只在英国有效。无论哪种情况，都应该将每个广告独立分开，可以灵活的调整国家。

3.广告相关性的重要性

对Adwords广告进行分类

假设你在为狗训练产品购买PPC流量。花点时间对关键词进行分类，并注意主要趋势：你会有一批关于德国牧羊犬的关键词，另一批关键词与防止狗乱咬有关。对关键词进行分类后，可以为每个广告组制作不同的广告文案，以便广告与人们搜索的内容相关。

例如，你可以撰写以下广告文案“Discover step-by-step how to stop your dog biting right now” 或者“Discover how to stop your German Shepherd’s behavior problems for good”，替换常规的文案“Get expert dog advice and stop your dog problems for good”。

制作不同尺寸的横幅广告

如果你正在为谷歌内容匹配广告制作横幅广告，务必使其符合Google支持的各种尺寸，这样的话你会有更多的机会展示在不同的网站上。

制作高效的横幅广告

确保横幅广告有针对性 – 这对广告的点击率至关重要！每个横幅广告对应一个关键词组，如果你的关键词是关于牧羊犬，那么你的横幅图片更应该侧重牧羊犬。

记住，图片广告可以引人注意，主要是文字的作用。让文字成为广告的重点，如果你的广告使用动画（例如GIF动画或者Flash），确保观众有时间阅读文字，我们建议每帧设置为4秒钟。

在设计广告时不需要花很长的时间和精力 – 你可以设计一个基础的模板，然后根据不同的关键词替换模板中文字生成新的横幅广告。

4.使用转化跟踪

最重要的是知道哪些关键词实际上产生了销售，可以删除那些没有销售的词，把主要精力集中在有转化率的关键词上。因此，我建议你使用转化率跟踪或跟踪ID来查看销售情况。

Google通过转化跟踪工具为你提供了一种有效的解决方法。当用户点击Adwords链接时，它会在用户的浏览器中放置一个Cookie，如果他们通过商家页面购买了产品，则会触发一个转化记录。你可以查看哪个广告和关键词转化次数最多。

这个方法的缺点是你需要和商家网站合作才能使跟踪生效。需要他们将你的跟踪代码插入到购买后的页面，这样才能成功统计转化率。有些商家对此没有任何问题，但是另外一些商家不愿意这么做。如果你遇到了这样的商家，ClickBank有另一种方法跟踪销售。

ClickBank允许在推广链接中添加跟踪ID，这样做可以为每个着陆页和每个不同的广告组设置不同跟踪ID，你可能无法获得与Google转化跟踪代码相同的结果，但至少可以了解哪些着陆页转化效果最好。

Facebook

Facebook是美国第二大受欢迎的网站，在许多国家排名前十。 Facebook声称每天有2.5亿用户访问。

它如何帮助你？你可以在Facebook上做广告。

因为人们会将自己的个人资料，填写到Facebook个人资料页中，所以你有能力将广告定位到真正感兴趣的人群。可以定位45到60岁之间的纽约地区的单身女性，这是推广在线约会网站或者约会相关产品的绝佳市场。

YouTube

YouTube在Alexa网站排名中也很高 – 它也是一个竞争激烈的市场，你的视频很难获得好的排名。即使你只是制作一个屏幕截屏视频或者是PowerPoint样式的视频，也可以为你的网站带来流量。在视频中巧妙的结合你的品牌，将用户引导到你的网站。在YouTube中获得成功的人，往往是制作一系列视频并吸引粉丝的关注，你也可以学习这一点。

YouTube的另一个优势是，这些视频在Google中有很好的排名，为你的视频制作一个精美的封面图片，使它更有吸引力从而获得点击。

其他广告网络

  • DoubleClick –选择要投放哪些类型的网站：例如，可以在狗训练网站上推广狗训练产品。
  • CPA网络（如Azoogle.com）–一旦你知道广告系列转化效果和利润率，就可以使用CPA网络来获得流量。例如，如果你知道每个邮件订阅者会获得5美元的利润，可以利用CPA网络付费给Affiliate每注册一个邮件订阅2美元，这样的话，你还会有3美元的利润。

在广告页中配置一小段代码就可以跟踪到访问者的整个行动过程。通过数据统计可以找出广告或是网站设计的问题，找出哪些广告是人们满意的，哪些是不满意的。测试追踪多个广告、关键词、Landing Page，然后比较这些结果。

为什么要跟踪？

只知道销售多少是不够的，应该知道这些销售是通过哪些途径获得的。

如果通过PPC花费很多钱或者花费很多时间来设置群发电子邮件，那么使用跟踪就是常识，只有这样才能确定花费的这些时间和金钱是否会得到足够回报。

比方说，你开始推销学习吉他的产品Jamorama.约一个月后，每天平均销售10件产品。如果是为了盈利，这是非常好的效果。没有达到这种效果，如果你不用追踪的话，就不知道是因为PPC计划把人们带到你的目标页，还是因为错误的关键词推销造成的这种结果。

另一方面假设你是赢利的，在这种情况下，追踪可能就不那么重要了，但要想获得更多的利润呢？比如，你每次点击付费广告的关键词‘learn how to play bass guitar’的转换率是这个广告关键词‘how to play acoustic guitar’转化率的2倍。那么你就可以降低后者的广告花费，增加你的投资回报率。

转换率怎样帮助你赚钱：

  • 最基本的是，跟踪可以了解你的投资回报率，并知道钱应该花费在哪里
  • 可以帮你发现哪些关键词，广告词组和广告计划收益最好
  • 允许你测试新的广告页和转换页是否更有效，更迅速
  • 可以让你找到每个访问者的投入成本是多少
  • 可以帮你发现你的目标页和网站是否被泄露了。

跟踪的类型：

有几种不同的跟踪方法：

如果你是Clickbank affiliate,那么你可以用Clickbank的跟踪代码，它可以精确查找到访问者的购买路径。指定一个独特的跟踪代码，以不同的广告组和促销活动来精确查找到使用的方法，是广告形式还是推销形式售出的产品。

如果使用谷歌和Bing的PPC广告，那么你可以设定追踪哪些关键词和广告组是最有效的。

或者可以使用第三方跟踪软件，如Xtreme Conversions，它可以通过所有的网络数据和PPC广告，知道哪些关键词是最有利可图的。

PPC广告跟踪：

谷歌和Bing允许你在thank-you pages中添加转换率跟踪代码，以便使你看到每个广告组可以产生多少销售量和销售成本。

让我们来看看谷歌：

建立谷歌跟踪是非常简单的，只要在你网站或商家网站的转换页上加入一小段代码就可以。转换页就是网页，它需要确认你想让你的访问者做的某个特定行为。比如这样的网页说“thank you for purchasing X software”或者“thank you for signing up to my email list”。

记住跟踪的目的不仅仅是销售。Adwords跟踪可以让你跟踪线索，注册，你网站上一个重要页面的页面视图或任何其他具体到你的业务。

过程是这样的:

登录你的谷歌AdWords账户，点击底部的“转换跟踪”。

点击大的“+ CONVERSION”按钮开始。给转换一个名称，并选择转换来源。

然后设置要跟踪的转换的值、计数、窗口和类别。这些都将根据您跟踪的转换类型而改变。例如，如果你在跟踪销售时获得了59%的佣金，那么可能是这样的：

如果你在跟踪潜在客户，你可能会选择不同的选项，比如：

把跟踪代码复制到你的剪贴板上。

应该把这个代码的网页让你的访问者浏览，如果你想跟踪销售，将商家要销售的产品页面贴上谷歌Adwords代码到thank you 网页进行促销，大多数商家认为这么做可以帮助他们获得更多的销售额。

开始收集点击量和销售量，你可以看到一些新的细节出现在谷歌账户上：成本，转换率，每次转换的成本和转换。你可以展开细目，查看这些数据在任何广告组和关键词中所获得转换率。

在Bing上添加跟踪代码，跟谷歌是非常类似的过程，并没有任何东西可以阻止你拥有所有的三个代码在一个转换页。

但是谷歌跟踪不是完全准确，如果有其他affiliates也在销售产品，谷歌可能会错误的记录销售额，这并不是很罕见的问题。

这就是为什么我只是建议你，使用谷歌转换跟踪作为一项粗略的指标，以及查看关键词效果。如果想要更准确你需要使用另外一种方法跟踪。

那么我们现在就学习两种方法：

Clickbank跟踪：

谷歌Adwords追踪让你缩小广告追踪工作，但如果你想使用几种不同的促销方法来推广每个产品？那么该怎样比较PPC计划和Newsletter哪个更适合呢？

回答是用Clickbank tracking。

Clickbank affiliate能选择一个8个字符的跟踪代码结束他们的hoplink。你创建的代码可能代表某个特定关键词组，这样当你查看Clickbank分析时，就可以看到每个广告带来的销售状况。

例如，你可以选择指定ID为‘quit0988’对你的‘quit smoking’广告组，和ID为‘stop0988’对你的‘stop smoking’广告组。

假设你拥有一个网站，为了获得非常准确的结果，需要为你的每个广告组创建不同的landing pages，每一个landing page都需要不同的clickbank跟踪id，让你知道哪些目标页产生了销售。

Clickbank跟踪id，可以创建不同的跟踪，然后利用博客推销，邮件推销和viral PDFs推销，这会产生极有价值的信息，帮你优化广告，并找出你应该努力的重点，使自己的投资获得更好的回报。

Clickbank跟踪代码很容易建立：建立你的hoplink，然后输入你的代码到字段中。注意：如果跟踪许多不同的事情很容易混淆。

XTreme转换跟踪软件：

Xtreme Conversions 是一个创新性的转换软件包，它可以精确的跟踪哪些关键词可以赚钱。结合谷歌、Bing和大约100个affiliate网络，包括clickbank，Commission Junction，Azoogle和Amazon。

让我们看看它最有趣的部分——提供的数据：
